What happens when a small segment of our society is outcast and feel alienated? Well, perhaps you have found yourself in such a group previously? Odd man out or involved in an activity, which was different from the norm? Well, it does not seem fair when it happens to you does it? Yet we as Americans are alienated a large group of folks in our society; the gay and lesbian community.

Sure some people say it is justified, I mean that surely is a very different lifestyle indeed. And it is so different that many cannot understand it. It causes anxiety and some say fear. You know how those homosexuals like to run around and call everyone a homophobic? Well maybe they are right and maybe they aren’t but this name calling on both sides has furthered the divide between the group and the rest of America. You might say so what, as it really does not affect our daily lives much does it? Well true enough, but before you say it is not your problem, realize it seems to affect them very much.

In fact there is a lot of built up tension and animosity out their towards us regular folks from the gay folks. Enough that perhaps we all ought to take notice of potential individuals going out of their way to make a much bigger issue out of it than mere name calling. I had addressed the issue of the more radical gay fringe with the gay and lesbian community. They actually believe it does not exist and is no problem to society. Much like the environmentalist deny that the eco-terrorists are arsonists, polluters and criminals. In talking with the group you know I am really getting bored of their denial of the problematic gay fringe walking around with hate.

You can feel the hate, you can see it in their eyes and hear their thoughts. Indeed their under breath comments and talk in groups is also troubling. Having had them play their intimidation tactics on me and threatened my person, used extortion tactics against my company, I need not prove anything to the gay community that their fringe exists. Yet they are in denial of the gay fringe radical fundamentalists and their potential heightened criminal acts in the future.

I hereby predict that someone or a group or a multiple set of groups out their will cause a criminal act which will be in the headlines for months, but the gay and lesbian community could have been prevented if only the gay and lesbian community would have done something about it. I can feel the negative energy of some of these folks, if the gay community cannot, then their eyes are closed and they need to wake up. Because as a non-gay I cannot do anything about these folks, but they can, but won’t because the gay community is telling me they do not exist.

They are in denial or lying, personally I do not care which. Maybe it is safer for the group to just keep quiet and live in denial. Fine, but the problem festers until the pot boils over and the gay community and all their friends could have stopped it. But cared not to. Too busy with their own lives to care about their treasured gay and lesbian community. And if they do not care, well it should be obvious why many of us do not care and thus the rift is widening instead of acceptance and tolerance you see?

I am sorry I call an ace and ace and a spade a spade. I have clearly identified a big and growing problem, and with each defeat of the gay marriage makes this gay fringe group grow more and more angry willing to break the law and attack anyone they think a threat. Personally I am tired of the homophobic labels and motif, I am tired of the name calling and threats and the gay community needs to wake up because so is the rest of America, they are starting to piss people off, some folks who are even neutral on the gay marriage subject. This is hurting their cause. So when they say that we need to be tolerant, I say; “Hey wait a minute, you all need to be tolerant!”

You see, now the problem is not only with the meat heads of the Christian Radical Right with their gay bashing BS, now the problem is within the terrorist like gay fringe. Perhaps a defense mechanism, sure could be, but when acts of violence come about, no one who gets injured or killed as an innocent bi-standard really cares who started it. The gay and lesbian community indeed has their work cut out for them, but if they fail to control this fringe, then it will set your gay community back a decade or so. Consider this in 2006.

A visco memory foam mattress gets it’s name from the visco-elastic material developed for NASA in the early 1970’s in conjunction with the space program.

The astronauts in the space program were facing incredible g-forces, at take-off and re-entry, and the materials that were available, at that time, weren’t sufficient to cushion their bodies.

Of course, they weren’t looking for a memory foam mattress, they needed seating that was more like a big, overstuffed recliner.

Visco memory foam was developed from foam that had some unique characteristics, such as being open celled and able to return to their original shape and resiliency after being compressed.

You may have seen the commercial with the 30 ton steam roller smashing a mattress flat and how it slowly returns to it’s exact original shape…or maybe you’re more familiar with the picture of a hand above a mattress with the hand print still showing on it.

Both illustrations are meant to show you the slow recovery of visco memory foam.

Because the billions of cells, in a visco memory foam mattress, are open, air can slowly escape from them and pass into other cells that are adjacent.

As you lie on a visco memory foam mattress, it “melts away” from you until your body is completely and evenly supported over it’s entire surface.

That’s what has been termed by some as feeling like you’re floating in space. (Even though I love my mattress, I’ve never felt like that was a good explanation of how it feels)

A visco memory foam mattress is temperature sensitive, so it reacts to your body temperature by softening where your body is in contact with the mattress. If you have an injury, with a fever, the mattress is softer under that place on your body.

In the beginning developments of this material, it was too expensive to be used for residential consumer mattresses and pillows.

Over time, the manufacturing costs have been whittled to a point that a good memory foam mattress is as reasonably priced as a good innerspring mattress and there is no comparison in the comfort of the two.

Memory foam is now being combined with other materials to meet the needs of the vast multitude of consumers who are looking for:
a better night’s sleep
relief from back, neck or leg pain
relief from a partner’s restless movement
better circulation
a compromise to a softer feel for one person while maintaining the support the other person is used to from a firm mattress

Schedule some time to do some memory foam mattress pricing comparisons and you’ll see that you can, affordably, be sleeping on a mattress that is great for your body, health and your budget.

Itavis Storage Solutions has delivered Denmarks largest supercomputer

The University of Copenhagen has acquired a supercomputer that will become Denmark’s absolute biggest and fastest.

It was physicists and astronomers from The Niels Bohr Institute and The Department of Chemistry who placed the order for this new powerful mega computer.

The Super computer from IBM is provided by Itavis Storage Solutions and will be the absolute fastest and with the utmost’s processing in Denmark.

It consists of 400 CPUs with a total of 1,640 cores, and it can process faster than 1,500 brand new computers. The system has also assigned a 250,000 GB hard drive.

If the same amount of information was stored on CD-ROMs and stacked on top of each other it would reach more than half a kilometer high (535 meters, or nearly 13 times Rundetrn).

Solving the Puzzles of the Universe

The physicists at the Niels Bohr Institute require a tremendous processing power in their research. Their experiments conducted at CERN, the European organization for nuclear research, Génve in Switzerland, where the researcher in solving the universe natural forces and substances building up in the first milliseconds after the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago.

Next year in a 27 km long underground LHC nuclear accelerator they’ll create ‘mini Big Bangs’ in which the nuclei (protons) collides with fierce energy and degrade to the toddlers elementarv particles.

Prepaid credit cards have been growing in popularity over the past few years. But despite the ‘credit card’ name, no credit is actually involved. Here’s how it work’s.

When a standard credit card is used, you pay for the convenience of being able to purchase items without saving the money up first. The issuing bank is basically lending you money , to be repayed on a regular basis. But with a prepaid credit card, there is no line of credit or loan. Instead, the user will make deposits to their bank account, and then use the credit card to withdraw that money for purchases. Why would you use a prepaid credit card if you don’t actually get any credit?

A prepaid credit card is a excellent choice if you want to be able to make purchases online without taking the risk of giving unknown merchants your credit card information and access to your credit line. Lots of people today are sensitive to online credit fraud, and this is one of several ways around it. But be aware though, many merchants that require you to make monthly payments will not accept a prepaid card for purchases.

A prepaid credit card is also an great way to provide a weekly or monthly spending allowance to a child away from home, let’s say, at college. The student has the convenience of being able to charge different items on the card, and you can easily have control over the amount that the child spends by the amount of the deposits made to the account. This will go a long way in teaching them how to manage their money.

If you have decided that a prepaid credit card is the right choice for you, there are a lot of options available that can offer you varying benefits. Perhaps you’re looking to repair or restore your credit. Could be you want a way to give your away-from-home student a monthly allowance. No matter what your reason, why not choose a prepaid credit card that allows you to earn income at the same time?

Prepaid Credit Cards That Help You Restore Your Credit

Not every financial institution that issues stored value credit cards makes reports to credit agencies about your spending history. If part of your reason for applying for a prepaid card is to repair your credit history, make sure you choose a company that does make reports. There are also a number of issuing companies that offer credit reporting as an add-on service for an additional fee.

Prepaid Credit Cards That Pay You Back

Some major financial institutions will offer you a prepaid credit card with an opportunity to make income. They offer a rebate on spending, or a referral program. If you don’t need to build your credit, and believe that your income through spending rebates and referrals will exceed the annual
membership fees, then these types of cards might be a excellent choice for you.

What ever your reason for choosing a prepaid credit card, be sure that you shop around to get the best deal, and that you check out the financial institution to make certain that they are a reputable business.

They’re cute, they’re loveable, and they can tear up your favorite chair before you can say, “bad cat!”

Well, of course I’m talking about America’s favorite pet - the cat. (I know, some of you think the dog is America’s favorite pet. But, us cat lovers know better.) But, as most people who have cats (particularly indoor cats) also know, these adorable creatures can make messes outside their boxes and tear up furniture if not properly trained. And the best time to do the training is when the cat is young.

Since there is no such thing as a “kittygarten,” it’s up to you make sure your kitten learns the rules of the house. And quick. Don’t let the kitten develop bad habits that will come to haunt you later. For example, while it might be cute when Kitty manages to climb up to your dining room table during dinnertime, it’s not so cute three years later and your cat is still interrupting your mealtime. The best time to put a stop to unwanted behavior is now.

Here are some tips that can help you train your kitten at home:

1. Kittens need exercise. If this is not done in the form of toys for Kitty to play with, Kitty will become restless and could do damage to you or your home. Make sure Kitty has plenty of his or her own toys to bite and kick and chase after. Notice I said “his or her own toys.” Toys do not include your body parts. Never let the kitten use your arm or feet as toys to bite. Again, it’s cute when they’re kittens, but when the 3-year-old cat attacks your bare feet because you made it think your feet are toys, it’s no longer cute. It’s painful.

2. Since kittens are not yet toilet trained, it’s best to start by teaching it what to do with a litter box. The litter box should be big enough for Kitty to enter and move around. If you adopted your kitten from the Humane Society or rescue group, chances are Kitty has been around a cat box. But, in case your new kitten has never been introduced to a litter box, you will have to make the introductions.

Cats usually do their business after a meal or a nap. So, after Kitty finishes her meal is finished, play with her for about10-15 minutes, somewhere near the litter box. Lead her to the box. Move the litter around with your hand to intrigue Kitty with the texture of the litter, inviting her to step into it. Encourage Kitty once she steps inside, speaking to her in gentle tones. Make Kitty feel that the box is a nice and comfortable place. Whether she soils in the box or not, be consistent with that tone. Eventually, she will like the litter box and do her business there. Finally, be consistent and patient. Results may not come right away, but the training will pay off in time.

3. The claws of kittens are not that sharp yet compared to older cats, so right now Kitty isn’t too dangerous around the furniture. But, kittens grow up soon, and it’s best to teach them that a scratching post is where they should sharpen their claws, and not on your favorite chair. You might want to sprinkle some catnip on the scratching post to get Kitty interested. When you see Kitty sharpen her claws on the scratching post, be sure to praise her, or offer her a treat.

Praising the kitten for doing a good job and feeding it as a reward will help in teaching the kitten how to behave inside the house. It’s obvious to most of us, but it should be said - never shout at or hit your kitten.

Kittens are loveable animals and by spending some time daily with them, you’ll end up with a loveable, house-trained cat.

Have you ever played Monopoly? This classic board
game is based on the acquisition of wealth through
buying, renting, and trading real estate property using
play money.

Have a go at it, and you’ll be surprised how much it
can teach you about running a successful business
online. I discovered eight helpful pointers for you to
start with.

Let’s get started…GO!

Everybody begins on a level plain. You get the choice
of token to mark your place on the board. Usually I
pick either the wheelbarrow, terrier, or ship. Not a
surprise if you know that I enjoy gardening, dogs, and
the sea.

Whether it’s based on aesthetic appeal or affinity for
what is being represented, your personal choice is one
initial triumph; an essential 1st step into the game!

Lesson #1 Start With Something You Like

This simple technique creates a winning combination for
your business. You have firsthand knowledge and
experience in a niche that fascinates you, and you
impart this with so much excitement that you’re
audience can’t help feeling the same!

Interesting people are people who are interested, as
the saying goes. Furthermore, your passion for the
subject will drive and motivate you through the daily
routine of running and growing your business.

With the roll of the dice, the race begins! Whether or
not you have an idea on how to proceed, your biggest
challenge will involve skill and a bit of luck.

Lesson #2 A Little Luck Never Hurt Anyone

With the dice, many say it’s in the wrist. But whichever
way you put it, everybody could use a bit of it every
now and then. Some are luckier than others, landing on
squares of opportunity and free cash. Others land on
rent after bill.

It’s not altogether different in internet marketing.
I’ve landed on losing squares because I didn’t use my
head. And sometimes I happen to sign up for a
newsletter just when they launch a pre-release discount
for a product I just happened to need at the time.

Lesson #3 Lay Out Your Game Plan

You can tackle this game in many different ways, but
you need to establish a game plan. If you’re the
independent type, you might want to learn from scratch
by playing around with ideas. All systematically, of
course.

Focus on the small groups and move up from there, luck
with the dice notwithstanding. Or make a beeline for
prime properties and keep building houses and hotels
for long-term profit.

You can choose any number of combinations with which to
proceed and have a go with it, but be prepared to play
many times over! It is the only way you’ll know what
works for sure.

And sometimes, the smarter way to go is by asking
someone who has played the game and always come out
on top. You will still have to play it yourself, of course, to
make little improvements until it works right for you.

No matter how you develop your game plan, be sure to
follow it through. Persistently. Consistently. Systematically.
Don’t get easily distracted if something new happens to
land on your lap. If it’s consistent with your plan, you’ve
struck on luck!

The same goes for running your business. You can save
yourself plenty of time and heartache by adapting
proven methods from those already successful before
you. They’ve been around the block enough times to know
what works and what doesn’t. All the same, blend in your
own personal twist until it works for you.

Lesson #4 You Gotta Spend Money to Make Money

What do you do once you land on an opportunity
square…pass? I would be hard-pressed to name anyone
who hops around the board without buying a single
property!

Maybe the first few rounds won’t be as rough since the
game has just begun. Nobody has yet put up houses or
expensive hotels on their properties. Rents are not yet
so high. Maybe you’ll get lucky on the Community Chest
or Chance cards. And you’ll even make it to GO. That’s
another $4000 in the bag. With time, however, you’ll
find your wallet empty as you hop from house to hotel.

At this point, you might begin to regret all the passed
opportunities you let slip through your fingers.
Monopoly is about investment and return! Lest you
forget, your wallet will remain empty.

In online business, a free ride is alright. Many people
have started out this way. But bear in mind that your
business will need prime web real estate and a marker
(www.yourbusiness.com) to go with it, if you’re at all
to be taken seriously. Else your credibility, image,
or reputation will suffer before you have the chance to
even build it.

You don’t have to spend on everything right away. Just
the essential tools that your market sees: website,
autoresponder messages, list management, etc.

Lesson #5 Jail Time Does Not Pay

Other players get ahead and beat you to the prime
squares. You’ll waste what little resources you have,
trying to get out.

The internet is no different. While nothing compares to
learning your lessons the hard way, you’d be much
better off learning from other people’s mistakes. At
such a critical stage when you’re just starting out,
your reputation cannot easily be repaired once
shattered, whether by SPAM or other unethical business
practice. Establish a code of ethics and faithfully stand
by it!

Lesson #6 Give Back to the Community

The Community Chest card usually collects donations,
taxes, and other related fees to keep the monopoly
community (a.k.a. the Bank) intact and progressive.

The internet community requires no different. While you
do have bills to pay — we all need to make a living!
— the mechanics of buying and selling exists as a
well-oiled machine because of the interaction and
exchange of information without constant thought for
personal profit.

Go pro bono once in a while. Help for the sake of
helping. Answer questions and offer practical advice in
the forums and discussion groups. Write articles
offering valuable information from your own knowledge
and experience. How about some free products?

Lesson #7 There’s Always a Chance to Start Over:
Pass GO, and Collect $$$

GO is a place of refuge. Passing it always comes with a
sigh of relief! An excellent time to examine property
cards and glance at the status on the board. Assess
your progress. Make necessary adjustments in your
plan: acquire properties to prevent others’ monopoly
or add to yours?

Going back to square one is also ideal in internet
marketing. It is an opportunity for you to re-group.
Assess your progress, based on your plan. Are you
keeping your time-schedule? Are you accomplishing the
tasks you’ve set out to do?

Where does your business stand at this point in time?
Step back for a moment and look at the big picture. You
can then make the necessary improvements. You can
also modify your game plan for better results.

Lesson #8 Your Attitude Makes Your Game

How do you deal with bad luck on the dice, when you’re
constantly landing on properties that demand
staggering prices for rent? Do you resign before you
even try to get back up? Or do you give yourself that
little pep-talk and play on?

What is your business attitude? It’s important to make
a stand. How you choose to deal with the demands of
your business and its problems, determines your chances
for success.

Even in its varying degrees, success ultimately lies
with you. It is in your hands. If that is what you want, you
have little choice but to develop the attitude for running a
successful business.

Identify your capabilities and compensate for your
weaknesses by improving on your strengths. And always,
always always…adapt accordingly!

The stakes are high. And your only opponent in the end,
is yourself. What’s your game plan?

Go ahead. Roll the dice. Opportunities await. And GO is
never far from sight.

Often lucky with the dice, Margaux Alhanen doesn’t
mind giving discounted rent. Off the board, she gathers tools

Trying to be green is something that is going to involve us all in the next 8yrs. We have Eco Travel, Electric Cars & Bio Diesels to look at now.

There are likewise different forms of Bio Fuels. Biological Diesels are mostly plant based alternatives to oil- based Diesels such as petrol, diesel and heating oil. Burning biodiesel emits C02, even so, this is offset by the fact that the plants used to fabricate it uses CO2 emissions from around the atmosphere to grow. Even so the eco gains of Biological Fuels are hotly questioned, with some environmentally friendly specialists claiming that Bio Fuels cause more destruction than good. There are many two big breeds of Biological Diesel and Ethanol.

As the name suggests, biodiesel is intended for use in diesel engines. Biodiesel is really related to vegetable oil & is created from the same kinds of plants- oil rich sources such as sun flower, palm, rapeseed and groundnut. Biodiesel will also be fabricated from pig fat or oils taken from American cuisine restaurants. Biodiesel might be used smart in some diesel vans, but nevertheless, at this current time Bio Diesel is much more often found in a mix with normal diesel- commonly 0.18 biodiesel with normal diesel fuel. This blend should be used by any regular diesel motorcycle.

Ever thought about buying an eco friendly car? There are two types the G WIZ and the Mega City electric car. All of these are genuinely climate and green friendly transport machines; in fact Bio Diesels cars are many an environmental dream. Biological Diesel cars don’t construct any carbon dioxide emissions in fact much more to the point Bio Diesels cars do not even own an emission pipe. For the reason that you power an eco friendly car from renewable energy, it produces not any emissions. Even if this eco car has lots of advantages it does have several disadvantages as well. The noticeable one being it is a climate change friendly car and it might only do 108 miles before you may have to charge up the car battery unit & all that normally has to be finished over the course of the night, if you are arranging on doing a long excursion, this may have to be done over the course of some excursions. Combat climate change with Eco Travel & Green Transport.

I read a lot of postcard marketing articles written by postcard vendors, and it seems to me that most of them say the same thing:

“Send lots and lots of postcards, and don’t question the fact that people aren’t responding. Just keep doing it.”

In other words, keep spending money with us, regardless of the fact that you’re not generating any in return. Keep mailing those postcards. Be patient. Don’t ask questions. Just keep mailing.

This article will be different.

* Am I writing this article on behalf of a postcard-marketing vendor? Yes!

* Will I try to persuade you that postcard marketing failures should be repeated? No!

I’m a professional copywriter and have worked on many direct mail campaigns. If I created a postcard for a company or client, and that mailing got ZERO results, I would probably be fired. I can only imagine looking a client in the face and saying, “I know this was a huge bust … but let’s keep sending it! Maybe the fifth time will be a charm.”

There is no excuse for a large-scale mailing that produces zero results. There’s no excuse for it, but there’s a word for it … “failure.” If your first postcard mailing generates nothing, then that mailing should be modified, not repeated.

In postcard marketing, repetition does help. But it’s not a magic cure. The key is to repeat the mailings that work, not just the mailings in general. A failure repeated many times rarely becomes a success. At least, not in my experience.

So here’s my challenge to the other postcard marketing companies out there:

Start caring about your customers’ success as much as you care about their spending habits. Teach them how to increase their response rates with tried-and-true strategies. Teach them how to implement a testing plan to compare the success of different mailings. Teach them how to build a stronger offer.

Repeat the mailings that work, not just the mailings in general. In short, teach your customers to focus on response first, and repetition second.

Running an online business sounds like a piece of cake. You hire someone to develop a flashy website, your throw a few products on a few pages and then you sit back and wait for the cash to flow in. You should have thought of this years ago! It’s practically a no-brainer.

Well I am here to tell you that you should choose a very cushiony chair to wait in because you will be waiting for that cash to roll in for a long, long time. Running an online business is as easy or as difficult as you make it. The secret to online business success is simple- choose the best tools, the best customers and offer the best product. You should not be running a website. You should not be focusing on technology.

You need to zero in on your business. If your business has nothing to do with website design then I recommend staying away from website design in your day-to-day operations. Getting caught up in the technological jungle is devastating for online businesses. You must focus on your customer and not on the technology it takes to drive your business.

You have a few options. You can hire a designer, but this will cost you several thousands of dollars. This will also become a pain as you need things updated. I can almost guarantee you that every time you want to add, change, delete or fix something on your site you will have to wait for days if not weeks. You will also be charged. Hiring a web designer is like tossing money out the window if you ask me.

Your other option is to do-it-yourself. The sheer amount of hosting companies that offer a template for you to build your business around is staggering. The best way to sort through the marketing hype and clutter is to do a gut check. What does your gut say when you read these hype campaigns to buy a domain, a year of hosting and a template to build your website for $60? Is it possible to invest $60 for the year and expect to have a legitimate and profitable online business?

You tell me. What does your gut say? The bottom line is that there is a lot more to running an online business. You need more than a domain, hosting plan and template. You need support. You need a way to rank well at search engines. You need to know how to rank well at search engines. You need to know the best way to earn income through your site. You need to be able to track each and every visitor back to the referring source. You need to know how each and every page of your website ranks at all the major search engines. You need to know exactly what to do to make them rank better.

Beyond all of that, you need a newsletter to keep in contact with your visitors. You need a blog. You need a way to create a contact form. You need a way to easily update your site in a minute or less, without the hassle of calling a designer. You need to provide excellent customer service to your customers via excellent information and targeted products. You need to draw free hot leads from the search engines every single day.

All of those things require more than a domain, a hosting plan and a template. By the time you add up all the costs of most do-it-yourself web business plans, you are spending close to a $500 and up. Sure it beats a designer by thousands of dollars, but what is the cost for all the time you are going to spend creating and learning the new technology?

Running an online business is hard. It takes time to develop and it takes courage to stay with it. Running a business involves taking calculated risks. Any good business person knows that they need the best tools and the best companies to succeed.

Here’s a solid and responsible online business plan of action. Find a hosting company that delivers everything you need in one swift swoop. Find a company that allows you to create custom reports about your visitors. Find one that knocks your socks off. Find one that makes your gut happy!

You will be more successful. You will be happier and less stressed. You will finally be able to focus on your business and not the technology. You will have cracked the secret to online business success- choose the best tools, the best customers and offer the best product.
